Travelling by air

The nearest international airports are located in Zurich and Milan.
Suvretta House can be reached from Zurich Airport by car (approx. 2 ½ to 3 hours) or by train (3 ¾ hours). Coming from Milan, we recommend a journey by car (approx. 3 hours).

The Engadin Airport in Samedan, just 81⁄2 km eastwards from Suvretta House, is a regional airport licensed by the Swiss federal authorities. It is the highest airport in Europe – accessible all year round to private and charter jets. Visual approaches only are permitted, daily between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. (local time) in summer, and from 8 a.m. to dusk in winter. Customs officers are on duty during the airport’s operating times.

The Engadine is also a veritable paradise for gliders.
